Kettleby Cemetery Cenotaph
November 8th, 2015
Remebrance Day was observed at noon on Sunday, November 8th, at the Kettleby Cemetery Cenotaph. The Last Post and Reveille were performed by Corson Panneton (pictured above). Wreath-layers included officials at the national level (newly elected Deb Schulte, at right below), as well as provincial, township, church and police representatives.
Amanda Sikorski and Caitlin Mcintyre read aloud, in english and french, the traditional 'In Flanders Field', written by John MaCrae in May 1915. Below, are two of the service observers who were part of the attending group, which was larger than has been seen in recent years.
