Queen Anne's Lace - Seneca College/Eaton Hall

Daucas carota, whose common names include Queen Anne's Lace, wild carrot, European wild carrot, bird's nest and bishop's lace, is a flowering plant in the family Apiaceae.  Native to the temperate regions of the Old World, it was naturalized in the New World.   It can grow to 4 feet high and has a carrot-like smell.

Delmanor residents visit Toronto waterfront

A dozen residents of Aurora's Delmanor retirement residence, on Yonge Street, took a boat tour of the Toronto waterfront and Centre Island on Tuesday of this week followed by a dockside lunch.   The changing Toronto skyline never ceases to amaze, while the verdant Toronto Islands scenes soothe the soul.
