Aurora - crazy for the BeeGees...

BeeGees tribute Band (above) and Cher tribute artist (right) turned on a huge crowd of enthusiasts who loved the music and filled the dance pad at the town park this past week.

It seemed to be the largest crowd of the summer schedule.   Dancers below show their stuff...

 

Chilly weather greeted concert- goers, but winds went down and the music got hot.

Flaming and twirling batons kept 

some warm, but bundling up or dancing was still the way to stay warm.

Vinca Major or Greater Periwinkle...

VINCA

These lovely little beauties are growing on a windowsill in my friend Pat's apartment. Vinca major, with the common names big leaf periwinkle, large periwinkle, greater periwinkle, and blue periwinkle  is a species of flowering plant in the family Apocynaceae and is native to the western Mediterranean.   They are small but charming and typically blue in colour.
