If you're like me and you get dozens, or hundreds, even thousands of corrupted, but often humorous, aphorisms in your emails, you may feel that you would like to write one yourself and send it off.

I have finally come up with one of my own and am sending it off into the new year, as follows...

"The problem with human race is that by the time we get to the finish line, we've all expired!"

The Second King Baptist Church (c. 1865) is located on the 18th Sideroad of King Township.   

The congregation is thought to have existed for approximately 150 years.

It was converted into a private residence 2008.

Laskay Emporium...

Built in 1845

The Laskay Emporium was built 180 years ago, in 1845, by Joseph Baldwin.  It served the residents of King Township well in the 20th century, on Weston Road, south of the King Sideroad, before being saved from demolition by the Arbuckle family, and being moved to Black Creek Pioneer Village in Toronto, for restoration and preservation, 66 years ago, on February 19, 1960.
