Perfect day ~ wonderful art

SCHOMBERG STREET GALLERY
ART SHOW & SALE
Weather was perfect for the 8th annual Schomberg Street Gallery this past Sunday.   Art lovers filled Main Street and business was brisk and rewarding for many of the over 40 artists who displayed their talents.   The Street Gallery is presented by ARTS SOCIETY KING in association with the Schomberg Village Association.

This charming canine was the unofficial greeter at the north end of the street gallery, stopping and charming hundreds of passersby with his lively gestures and antics.   Everyone petted, stroked and scratched this energetic entertainer, who never grew tired the attention.

These two art lovers rested briefly in front of the MIller's Table on Main Street.   The Miller's Table is the new dining establishment that has replaced the former landmark Sheena's Kitchen.   Pictured below is one of the iconic Main Street houses in Schomberg which, in particular, attracted photographers throughout the entire day.

Fall is but two weeks away

Photos by Barry Wallace
It is still summer and it still feels like summer, but there is however a whisper of fall as a few maples begin their shift from green to yellow, orange and red.

Schomberg Street Gallery ~ Sunday ~ 10 to 5

Photos ~ Arts Society King

Last week I showed some of the paintings in the upcoming Schomberg Street Galley, but there will be much more than paintings on display and for sale.   Pictured here are several items for art lovers that range from sculpture to photography, from jewelery
to leatherwork, and more.
See you there, maybe.
