Another King City subdivision rises up

New homes are well underway just west of King City Public School, and north of the King Road. The subdivision is located on the lands bordered by Dew Street and King Boulevard.

ASK art show features three King City schools

Student art on display ~  January 6 to 28

Grades 9-to-12 students from Country Day School, King City Secondary School and Villanova College have been brought together to present 80 pieces of their works of art and have them judged by renowned King artists Ernestine Tahedl and Ed Bartram.   An official opening reception will be held on Thursday, February 9, between 7 and 8.30 p.m.   Awards and presentations will be made at 7.30 p.m.

80 eclectic and remarkable works of art by local students are on display in this year's exhibition and competition.   Parents should be aware that some images may not be suitable for young children.   The cultural centre's regular hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Tuesdays to Saturday.   Admission is free.

WINDOW ON A LIBRARY

This window is a feature of the north side of the Nobleton Public Library.   It has a couple of angled/slanted design features to it, plus a distinctive inverted arch. I don't think I've seen anything like it elsewhere in King, but one never knows.
