At the King Heritage and Cultural Centre...

Handcrafted of fibre and hair (dog) by Blair Acton Burrows, c. 1950.   Not only was Blair Burrows a skilled and artistic craftswoman in the last century, she was also an avid golfer, skier and skater, as well as an insightful home builder, who created a 'rammed-earth' (mud) house upon the King Ridge, on the 6th Concession.

  1. Just a suggestion (request) - could you do a feature of her on this site ,along with the house . sounds like an interesting person. I did a quick google but nothing showed up.
