Seen above is one of two signs on the King Road, at each end of King City, announcing a King Road project that will upgrade and beautify the streetscape of the main east-west road through the village. The project is to be completed by the fall of 2020. One wonders if this could be a precursor to making one of the nearby sideroads a commuter bypass for the traffic-clogged King Road.
