1953 Pontiac 4-door sedan
This beautiful two-tone 1953 Pontiac has been parked in front of the recently opened Deserti Home Bakery on King Road, in King City, for the past few days. It is owned by Nico (seen at right), a life-long resident of King City and now one of the friendly employees of Deserti. Nico told me his restored Pontiac is Canadian-made and original throughout. He and I chatted briefly about the new bakery and everyone at Deserti is pleased with the welcome they've received in King City. One of the features still to come is an ice cream machine. That can't happen soon enough for a lot of folks, I'm betting.
