Former Catholic Elementary school to be razed
The building that resembled a prison, as much as a school, is destined for demolition. King Township will build a completely new structure on the site, at the west side of the village and directly opposite the King City Cemetery. Here are some photos of the old school that convey anything but a welcoming sight.
Even robins that once nested here beneath the eaves (see at left) have long given up on the building.

You are right, it does not look inviting at all. Wonder who designed it and why s/he designed it this way.
