East Humber River at King Creek...

An unfrozen East Humber River is seen flowing under the Mill Road bridge in south-central King Township.   Today I spotted a Kingfisher as it flew from beneath the Mill Road bridge and headed upstream.   And it's only 59 days until spring!

  1. Wow a stark picture from the one below of the road to Mary Lake.

BTW Barry the Brothers at Mary Lake have a plan to make the place sustainable.

  2. I've been seeing a Kingfisher in our creek this past week - a 1st. for this time of year . Little snow and mild temperatures - "come on winter give us at least one blast so we can start looking towards spring."
