Trees cut down at Kettlbey Green Golf Course...

Photos by Barry Wallace
Anyone driving up Jane Street, north of Hwy. 9, will notice that many, many trees on the east side of Jane Street and south of the South Holland Marsh Canal have been removed from the north-east corner of the Kettle Creek Golf Club.   Because the trees were cut down with snow on the ground, the remaining stumps are as high as the snow was deep.   I assume the remaining stumps will be removed at  ground level, if the intention is for golfers to continue to play through this part of the course.   No doubt, the opening up of the tree concentration here will be great news for regular golfers.   The bottom photo here was taken last year ago.
