Trees of Giving at Museum

Trees of Giving is the name of a fund-raiser and christmas tree art show at the King Township Heritage & Cultural Centre, in support of the King Township Food Bank.   Trees have been decorated by various King community groups.   Visitors to the Heritage and Cultural Centre have until December 17 to visit and view and vote for their favourites.   Voting is done by donating a loonie, or more, for your favourite.   All proceeds go directly to the King Township Food Bank.   Three of the ten specially decorated trees are pictured here.   The participating community groups have outdone themselves in spirit and creativity ... a fascinating and charming presentation. I suspect the artistic flair of Elsa Ann Pickard in connection with this fine idea.
