Canadian Sesquicentennial flag flying in King
I was driving north on Hwy. 400 last weekend and noticed these flags flying on the east side of the highway, a little north of King's 17th Sideroad. The striking blue flag with the multi-coloured maple leaf is the official flag of Canada's 150th birdthday. It was designed by Ariana Cuvin of Toronto and chosen as the winner in a nationwide contest. This is the first one I have seen in the township so far, but I'm sure there will be more.
