King-Vaughan Road overpass nears completion
When east-west traffic will resume between King Township's Jane Street and the 6th Concession is still to be announced but the new bridge superstructure now soars above highway traffic as it moves toward completion (hopefully this fall). The King-Vaughan Road has been closed to through-traffic since April of last year. A similar situation exists a few kilometres north on the 400 at King's 16th Sideroad which goes under the widened highway.
