This winter, I have seen squirrel traffic jams on our fences. I think a key survival idea in the squirrel brain is to think, "hey, where you go'n?" and to follow.

Are any of your neighbours' yards this busy? Is it a lose of habitat/ lack of predators causing such a concentration?
