Whenever I drive past Dog Tales Sanctuary on the 19th Sideroad of King Township, I must admit it is the big horses that catch my attention before the dogs do. When I was 13 years old, I spent a year on my grandfather's farm and he taught me to drive his work horses. I never the got over the experience. 65 years later I have great memories of that time.
