The 1950s photo of 'Doc' Gordon's Garage (above) on the King Road in King City show the earliest form of the business, while the photo below show the business after it had become a 'Red Indian' dealer. The photo at bottom shows the current Shopper's Drug Mart store on the old garage site.

If you walked into the 1st. bay there was a ten cent Coke machine against the wall. As a kid this was a big deal- as you enjoyed the rare treat of a cold pop , you could watch the mechanics revealing the mysteries of their trade. The smell of exhaust fumes , motor oil and leaded gas was rather enjoyable.
