  1. Holy Cowbird, I did a double take to figure out what the photo was! Grackles of course but at first glance it looked like a satellite photograph in the top part of the image.

  3. I suspect that Warren and zz both know that I have used the word 'plague' in a vernacular sense, as plague is the common name for a group of grackles. Thanks for the comments folks. I was impressed with the scene also.
