Gathering nesting material...

This Grey Squirrel with the red/white/black tail is new to our backyard this summer.   Today I photographed it gathering huge mouth-fulls of grass for a nest it is building in a large climbing hydrangea, at the front of our house.   I discovered its nest-under-construction as I was the pruning the hydrangea and was suddenly staring at this squirrel about 24 inches from my nose.   I stopped pruning and let the nest-builder resume its work.
