King City Airport

Elevation: 930'

The King City Airport and the Toronto Flying Club go back to the late 1960s in this location and was a popular private flying operation for almost 30 years.   It eventually became the home of J.K.Beamish Construction Company for many years.

  1. We used to drive drive by on Hwy 400 as a kid and we would all bet how many helicopters would be there.

    A great memory, thanks Barry!

    1. The helicopter company sponsored(mid 60s)our midget hockey team. As I remember, their logo was on the jersey.
