Vendors Day at King City's Roost Cafe...

One of the many vendors at King City's Roost Cafe this past Saturday, was local resident Tiziana D'Angelo   Tiziana told me to just call her Tiz, so Tiz it is.   Tiz has many, many talents and the one on display on this occasion, was tie-dying.  I decided to get one of my L.L. Bean shirts done, knowing that the long-deceased L.L. Bean himself would be turning over in his grave at the thought of someone (a Canadian of course) desecrating one of his classic shirts by having it tie-dyed!    Unfortunately, the material was not cotton, but polyester.   The inks were not readily absorbed and the colours in the dyed shirt, were not like the one pictured above. They were very subdued.  I still like the subtle colours, but next time will have Tiz tie-dye a cotton shirt for me.   Nothing too psychedelic or flamboyant however for someone in his 80th year.
