I called my sister Diane in Halifax, early Saturday morning, to see how they made out with Hurricane Fiona. She seemed not to have slept all night, was close to tears, almost intelligible, and without power. The hurricane was officially cited as the worst ever to hit Nova Scotia. Hang in there, sis.

I am so sorry to hear of the trauma that Diane is going through. I hope things settle down soon, and that there is no property damage to deal with. Please pass along my warmest wishes. -Heather
