New steeple becoming new Yonge Street landmark
The Aurora United Church rebuilding is nearing completion, hopefully in early 2026. Meanwhile, long after the 2014 fire that destroyed Aurora United Church, the church community gathered at Aurora Cemetery for a reinternment service of many early members of the local Methodist community on Sunday, August 24.
