Bright bevy of blossoms

Flowering trees and shrubs are not my strong suit but I sure like to see them when they are blossoming.   Above is a lovely display I spotted on the front lawn of a home in Ansnorveldt, on Dufferin Street, in the Marsh.  My tulips and daffodils have only just bloomed, at half their normal height, and I have not seen another flowering tree or shrub anywhere in King yet.   Needless to say, I have no idea what this beauty is called.   A type of magnolia, perhaps?   Any guesses?

Please comment if you wish.
