When a barn becomes a home...

 Photos by Barry Wallace
These photos taken over the course of this year show what appeared to be a barn in the beginning but as it nears completion looks more and more like a home.   It is located on Dufferin Street, quite near to the Dog Tales Sanctuary and the U of T's Koffler Research Centre.

  1. Not sure about that one. The exposed interior beams would be nice , but why not have a stone foundation vs. poured cement. Somehow the horizontal siding just doesn't seem right if you're going for the barn look. Maybe an old John Deere and some chickens in the barn yard is what it needs. Thanks for the pics .

    1. The place looked great in the early summer when they had just cedar planked the entire building. I thought they would have stained and clear coated it to give it the nice cedar look.
