Barry do you know if the house in the background is the Folliotts old farm house? I don't know if you recall , Ross Folliott use to go house to house delivering eggs.
Hi Robert. The house in the background is the old Forrester Farm, on the southeast corner of Weston Road and the 15th. The concrete post in the photo is actually on the old Barker farm, on the southwest corner of Weston Road and the 15th. The Folliott farm was located on the northeast corner of Weston Rd.and the 15th. My wife and her sister, when they were young, both worked for Ross when he was in the egg business.
The reason I asked , my dad is related to Irene Folliott and he would take us kids there to visit. I remember a wind mill by the house that pumped water , and chickens - lots of chickens. Dad was born in the farm house Aug.26 1924.
