The Maple Leaf Cricket Club, Canada's foremost cricket facility, at Eversley in King Township, has five cricket grounds, which are always active on weekends. Cricket originated in 1598 in England, as a male children's game. The Maple Leaf Cricket Club originated in the 1950s in Toronto.

Its a shame, this sport does not have a better field....or more sports fields in the GTA. Many people are stuck playing in parking lots.
ReplyDeleteThis field is the one place in my area that reminds me of south Florida...the place floods in heavy rains...like all those reclaimed from the swamp landscapes in South Florida when the big rains come through. I do miss it, I have to say.
