KCSS football juniors thump Brother Andre

Photos by Barry Wallace
The scoreboard sums up the good news for the King City Secondary School junior football team in their match last Friday against Brother Andre.   King City's 'Green & Gold' romped to the win on a cold windy day that did not keep the score low for the victors.   I hadn't seen a Lions football game in a long time but I'm quite near to the school and have heard the roars of fans, coming from the field throughout the fall season.   The juniors Lions are now 6 and 1 on the season and move on to a knock-out schedule: win you continue - lose you go home.   I didn't catch the whole game...it was so darned cold!   I did take several photos however and a few of them are below.
The final King touchdown ~ a short bruising running play
Another running touchdown - one of several
Aggressive line action
 Quarterback option
One of many post-touchdown kickoffs
Protecting the quarterback
Strong line play supports running game
