The new Holland Marsh District Christian School on Bathurst street, east of Bradford and south of Yonge Street, is scheduled to open in the spring of 2015, which is only four and a half months away. The school will celebrate not only the opening of its new home in 2015 but will also mark 72 years of service to the community. The new school sits on the west side of Bathurst Street, a few hundred metres south of Yonge Street; although Bathurst Street is no longer the simple country road it was until recently. Bathurst Street has been widened and now has multi paved lanes leading south towards the King Ridge. It will soon punch through the forests of the Oak Ridges Moraine and join up with the other dead-end of Bathurst Street on the south side of the King Ridge.
