"Winter Notes" folk music at United Church

Arts Society King (A.S.K.) presented Hugh Barnett and Claire Frances Muir (top), plus Marie-Lynn Hammond (above), who was accompanied by Darcy Wickham, in an evening or traditional and contemporary folk music in a concert entitled "Winter Notes", at King City United Church, on Saturday evening, the last day of February.   Almost 100 appreciative 'folkies' enjoyed the performances, as well as the mid-concert refreshments, supplied by the new Oak Ridges Retirement Community in northern Richmond Hill.   The evening is one of several themed musical evenings being organized by A.S.K. in King, during 2015 and beyond.
