Dufferin Street and King-Vaughan Line

Are its flying days over?
There was time when flights over King City, from this farm, were seen by many.    The plane still looks pretty good, but its hanger looks a bit neglected.

  1. I agree with you, I would not risk storing a plane that is probably still with at least $30K in barn in that condition

  2. I flew in that plane as a kid. First plane I’d ever been in. 2 seater Cub. Flown by Mr. Alan Crossley. They had two of them. The other one was white. Flew in that one too. They also had an open cockpit bi-plane.

  3. Clive - the bi-plane could possibly have be Carltons . There are some great stories about his adventures when he was a bush pilot and a test pilot during WW1. Do you know if Dan is still at the farm?
