Totems installation at John Abel Park in Aurora

Photos by Barry Wallace
Ten tall, large, impressive wooden pole carvings by noted chainsaw artist Bobbi Switzer, have recently been installed at John Abel Park on Hartwell Way between Bayview and Leslie streets in north-east Aurora.   The installation is a commissioned work in celebration of local wildlife, which fits in with the natural surrounding landscape.   Switzer, previously acclaimed as an illustrator and painter, has been a chain-saw artist for 15 years.
