  1. Hi Barry -This past weekend my sisters Donna Campbell and Wendy(Campbell)Allen attended the 93 Campbell Reunion -yep there were bagpipes- held at the Crossley farm(Faraway Close) on the King/Vaughan Line.. Pat and Michael Crossley still live in the log house. My sister said it was wonderful to step back in time surrounded by the huge sugar bush and corn fields keeping out the noise of the outside world. I know you've posted in the past your visits to the farm. I'm wondering if a field trip for you and some of your neighbours could be arranged. Wouldn't it be great if it was designated as a heritage site.
    All the best - Bob

    1. Hi Bob.
Thanks for your comment re: the Crossley farm (Farawy Close).
No doubt this property should be historically designated.
As it is now located in the City of Vaughan, I suppose it should be designated by that municipality.
Considering the tremendous historical significance of the property to both King Township and the City of Vaughan, cooperation between the two municipalities might be very productive.
      Best wishes,
      Barry
