The trail entrance to Ivy Jay Farm Woodland and Wetlands is to be found at the foot of Roth Street, below Hartwell Way, in north-east Aurora. The property features a big marsh and two large ponds at its centre. It was donated in perpetuity by Jim and Jean Spring in 2001, to Ducks Unlimited Canada. The photo at top shows a Great Egret in one of the ponds. The egret will head south very soon to its winter range in the Caribbean and South America.
