Old Eaton Hall lily pond completely covered

Two Great Blue Herons at Seneca College can be forgiven for being particularly challenged when it comes to spotting frogs on the long south pond.   Like so many other plants this summer, the water lilies have thrived in the slightly cooler weather and have totally covered the surface of the lagoon-like pond that is hidden by what I've always called 'creek-willows'.
