Han Wool church expands parking
The HanWool Presbyterian Church at King Road and Fisher Street, in King City, has been cordoned off with a large blue fence in advance of construction of additional parking spaces on the site.   The church, formerly the Bethel Baptist Chuch, was moved from Eversley, on Dufferin Street, to King City in 1889.   It closed in 1964, becoming a private residence and later became a real estate office.   Although three or four parking spaces were available on the site, churchgoers have had to park when and where they could find it.   Site clearing at the rear of the church has already begun.
