The Wellesley House to be transformed...

...into the Farmhouse Cafe
The onetime Crawford and Maude Wells home, on Keele Street, opposite the Anglican church, in King City, is to begin a new chapter in its long history.   The property has been sold and will be turned into the Farmhouse Cafe, in the spring of next year.   The house, built in 1900, was in the Wells family for 61 of its 115 years.   Crawford Wells owned and operated the Crawford Wells General Store on the other side of Keele Street, nearer to the King Road.
