Ken Mcquarrie calls it a day
After 56 years at the same location, Ken Mcquarrie, owner of Clearview Motors, on Keele Street South in King City, has called it quits. The building was sold on October 31. Ken began the business in his mid-20s and over the years his son Wayne joined him in the business and even a grandson was on the job earlier this year. The property is a prime site for redevelopment and many people, including former customers, will be very interested to see what replaces the old business. In the photo below, the Ontario Jaguar Owners Club used Clearview as a staging area for some of their car club rallies throughout southern Ontario. The photo dates from Ken Mcquarrie's first year in business.
