Finally...traffic lights at new plaza in King City

 Photos by Barry Wallace
Newly installed traffic lights became operational on the King Road, a little before 11 a.m. on Wednesday morning this week, adjacent to the new King Ridge Marketplace. The new lights are at the intersection of the King Road and Stan Roots Street (on the north side) and Spring Hill Drive (on the south side).   The King Road has been particularly hazardous in this area, as teenagers from the high school have, for many months, been crossing either four or five lines of  the road, often on the run, and dodging vehicles, many of which were exceeding the speed limit.   Seniors and mothers with baby strollers will now cross much less fearfully.   Thank goodness.
