'Forest Attraction' by Bridgette Granton

I dropped by the King Heritage & Cultural Centre in Kinghorn last Thursday to check out any display that might be of interest and spotted this oil painting by acclaimed local artist Brigitte Granton. This is a fairly large painting (36x36") and I was immediately drawn to it.   It wasn't part of an art showing, but was there along with some other pieces of art that were part of a project not really connected with the museum.   They were in transit and waiting to be picked up, however the intuitive folks at the museum decided to hang them temporarily -- nice gesture.   According to the artist's website, the painting is called 'Forest Attraction' and is described as follows: " the late autumn woods glow with the persistent leaves of Beech trees".
